Long before now I had planned to finish watching the second season of Downton Abbey, which is just sitting on my DVR waiting for me, and then blog about it. The reality is that I haven't had a second to do that in my spare time because I can't seem to turn off the Olympics. If you're enjoying the Olympic Games as much as I am, you also might like to check out the following books:

No Limits: The Will to Succeed by Michael Phelps
Age is Just a Number: Achieve Your Dreams at Any Stage in Your Life by Dara Torres
Open: An Autobiography by Andre Agassi

What other Olympics-related books have you read?

  1. Not about the Olympics, but I am reading the biography of Queen Elizabeth in honor of the Games being held in London.

Have you heard of Gold by Chris Cleave? It is a fiction book about two female indoor cyclists who are competing in the Olympics. It's supposed to be good, and I will probably read it next week when I'm going through Olympics withdrawal.

  2. I've heard of Gold and I'd like to read it. Let me know how it does for helping with Olympics withdrawal.

  3. I will. After reading your post, I went looking for Olympics books. I found this one: "Triumph: The Untold Story of Jesse Owens and Hitler's Olympics." Plan to read it post-Olympics too!
